I know it depends a bit on flame settings but I'm curious what you guys run for settings on the digital motor controllers for different brass.

On my 6.5 creedmoor I have the flame 1/8 inch off brass & 38 on the controller.

I have an earlier model AnnealEez with no digital readout. I bought the display, but haven't bothered to plumb it in yet.

same here, I used to use the older Annealeez set to about 8 seconds but I always second guessed myself.....now I have the AMP

On my 6.5 creedmoor I have the flame 1/8 inch off brass & 38 on the controller.

I had adjusted my flame closer and closed but wasn’t getting the results I wanted. The brass wasn’t getting hot enough and the wheels were heating up in short order.
Did a little research and forgot that the hottest part of the flame is at the tip of the blue flame. Adjusted my flame using the tip to heat the neck, then I was able to speed up the wheels again. No more problems with the wheels heating up.
Watch how close you put the flame to the neck.
