ANDERSON CREEK TACKDRIVER LITE RESULTS

What a day on the mountain. Sun, pouring rain, insane wind and after the shooting was done .....sunshine. I was measuring groups when someone stuck their head in the door to proclaim, "All the windflags just blew done" . That was a bit overstated but the herd did get thinned. Pretty much it was what we often deal with. Thanks to the 48 shooters who showed up and competed. Thanks to Andy Muraugh with Attrumrifles.com who showed up with a trailerload of goodies for the shooters to purchase and his donation of a chamber job. Also thanks to Jeremiah for his work putting this together and to the workers who made it possible. We have a lot of nice people who shoot at Anderson Creek which makes the work worthwhile. Now the results. It was such a tough day a good target was a reason to make one feel really good. A few guys managed to feel good quite often.
First place Mike Hagan
Second Jack Balon
Third Bob Horton
Pics, Winers Bob, Mike, Jack, Art Engleka and his .360 group at 300yds in tough conditions, Gene Delp most X's. A few picures when the sun peeked out.

Full results sheet ??

And thanks to Dave Shaw for trusting 12 year old Grandson
Zach with the key's to the golf cart. Those two set and pulled
targets non stop !! Well they did have a 7 minute rest each
relay !! That pound cake kept him going !! Did Naomi make
that ??

And Mike Redin ?? That first relay ladder test was impressive ??
And if you hear banjos playing, you'll need that canoe paddle !!
Just bustin" buddy.....LOL

Alway's nice to see the Kunselmen's again. Brian helped running
the relays and Gina worked in scoring, although she should have
shot this match......Just saying !!

Fuj.....

Jeff,

Thanks for posting the results and pictures of the event. This event ran smoothly due to the dedications and help from everyone involved. Anderson Creek did not disappoint with all the changing weather conditions that all the competitors got to shoot through.

Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all the competitors that showed up to brave the conditions.

Here are the overall sheets for group, score, and overall ranking.

I had a GREAT time while having one of my worst days shooting in recent memory. Met many new people and was able to put a face to some of our members here. The match was run extremely well, I am looking forward to getting back there next year for TDL-3.......The food and camaraderie mixed with the crazy changing conditions through the day made for a really fantastic match........Thank You.

Regards
Rick

Glad you came. One of the things I wanted to do was meet you but I was pretty busy and did not have time to meet many off the new folks. Come to one of our other matches , I would love to chat with you.

At one point my ball cap blew into the parking lot, and another time my shop rag sailed away towards Grampian. Just sayin'. lol.

Your grandson is a well mannered, polite young man. Obviously being raised correctly, thanks to you and your son. He has an opinion and will share in a respectful manner. He is aware there are adults and kids and knows they are different, with different rules and expectations. Hope to see him shooting sometime.
Yes Naomi made all the cakes and the strawberries. Let me know when your coming next I will put a bug in her ear about blueberry muffins.
Wow, Mike is taking a beating, lol.

Hey Jack, at least no one shot your hat. You shot well, as always, congratulations.

"Mike" A big "Congrats" from me buddy !!! We shot side by side
on the same relay, in the same conditions. and hell.....we even stacked
our gear together for the match !!! LOL It was your day, and huge !!
Again, "Congrats"

A little side note here.....First target was group. I shot a .832" in the
morning breeze and Mike blew it with a 1.908". As the winds increased,
so did his scores. He went "North" and I went "South" !! That's some
crazy bullet steering on his end......

Challenging does not quite sum up the changing conditions at Anderson Creek. The only thing that the shooters didn't see was snow or a tornado. A great job was done by all the people running the shoot. A big THANK YOU to all of them. Congrats to all the winners which is well deserved. Jeremiah ran a great shoot and hope to make it back to shoot with all the great people that made it all a success. Also met some great shooters that now I can put a face to. Hope to see them again.
