There are hotels in Clearfield, about 12 miles away if i recall correctly.
Couple of good restuarants in Clearfield also.
Home of Denny's Beer Barrel Pub, if your up to a burger challenge.

UBR match. New Brux barrel is in the lathe for the SA284,
May be using it at the next UBR 300 yard match.
The new short cat of mine I just shot needs bullets and
there are none.

I'd try this out if I didn't already have a mother's day commitment. Heck, ya'll are no further from me than Ridgway and my in-laws live right handy to Johnson Motors, up the road there. I'll be sure to fit a match in, in the upcoming future month's

Looking forward to meeting you Petey. Don't forget the 3rd Sunday is the 400 yard deer shoot, no sighters during the match. 2 -10 shoot strings. Kinda like a jr. 1000 yard shoot. MUCH more relaxed than the VBR matches. VBR match is fun but hectic, takes some of the fun away away for me.
