There are rules regarding this. UBR follows IBS procedural rules except for equipment rules, or at least that's how I understand it. Ultimately, it's about shooting and having fun, but what about someone that plans to shoot something different at 300 than they'd normally shoot at 100 or 200?

Bottom line is, rules are rules for a reason, mostly.

That said, one of the things that UBR has going for it is a lack of a preponderance of unenforcible rules.
That doesnt meant that someone should be ready to shoot whatever yardage at a few days notice, either. The schedule should be followed. JMHO, and I'm not saying that anyone is or isn't following the schedule/rules.

Again ultimately, UBR is about participation. SAo, anyone that wants to shoot....should! It's definitely a great game!

But when too many match directors start making their own schedule and/or not following the rules...well, we have a problem. That is all.

Before anyone jumps on me..I didn't make the rules and I know of no exception for match directors making the schedule as they choose.

This applies only to REGISTERED UBR matches! Others can do as participants allow............or not.

Yes it is. We shot 100, 200 this month, May. Now June 200, 300. If you came it would be easier for an old guy such as yourself to keep it straight, lol.

We follow our normal ANDERSON CREEK gun rules. 1 custom class with no weight limit, stock width limited to 3.1 inches, no 1 piece rests. Factory class allows trigger replacement and bedding, no flat bottem stocks. AR , bring what you got. At this MATCH unlike our other two matches you may shoot 1 gun in each class if you like and we do not draw for benches, first come, first choice. We use regular UBR targets purchsed from the UBR and have cash payouts. If you want to have good fun with a group of friendly shooters come join us. If you want to come and complain about OUR rules at OUR club.....start your own MATCH. Hope to see some new faces this month. It's a beautiful range, you will enjoy it. As stated above flags and spotting scopes are fine.

"Hey Jeff" !! I'll bring down some sunny beach weather
and maybe a light on shore breeze. I think I'm bringing
the SA284. It's the only thing bolted together right now
that will go "bang".

IWkell, it's not the beach here, has rained all day. But it is to end sometime tomorrow and nice on Sat.Just for you KEN, 200 and 300 yards.

Rumors abound all week of us having to work Saturday.
Found out today, no work tomorrow.
Car gassed up, money in wallet for match & bullets.
Die & fired case in range box for Fuj.
Throw me & the gun in the car and i'm good to go!

See you GUYS in the morning. Fuj, I can always count on you. Thanks for the beach weather.
