AnalyzeLoad Software

AnalyzeLoad is computer program that has both interior and exterior ballistics modules. The interior ballistics module includes three calculation modes — 1) forward calculation, 2) sensitivity analysis, and 3) inverse calculations.

1) Forward Calculation: Basic interior ballistics module for calculating muzzle velocity, pressure vs. time curves, pressure vs. bullet position in the barrel, velocity vs. bullet position, and mass of propellant vs. bullet position.

2) Sensitivity Analysis: Analysis module for determining the sensitivity of the pressure vs. time calculation and muzzle velocity to the primary gun and cartridge properties used in the interior ballistics model.

3) Inverse Calculation: Module for computing the bullet/barrel friction constant or gun powder burn rate properties given measured values for muzzle velocity, bullet weight, barrel length, and powder weight for selected cartridges and powder type.

4) Exterior Ballistics Calculations: This module computes the trajectory of the bullet given muzzle velocity, ballistic coefficient, and environmental conditions.

One thing, its a lot cheaper then QuickLoad. o_O

Thanks @ewgriffiths for joining and bringing it to our attention.
And for answering questions... you may get flooded with them... and opinion... lol

So you are involved with the company? Just wondering before i ask a bunch of questions

of interest, but anything with numbers draws me in - the pdf explained much and the price is OK - expect that I could learn a lot

I'll give the OP the benefit of the doubt, however I think that their company would get traction quicker here if they allowed use of their software to a few known reloaders and shooters for unbiased review/scrutiny.

Toolbreaker,

I don't think your idea works well. I have been helping my Australian friend de-bug a wind reading program and they and I tried to get a half dozen known shooters to try it out free and of all the shooters that agreed to do so, only one did! Wind reader has a web site and you can try it free for a month and no one notices!

Norm, I didn't figure that in, but what you wrote is very true. Not many items hit the market 100% ready to go. It does take effort on both ends.

its been on the market 5 years so seems like there would be more info out there about it

I would be interested in QuickLOAD competition. QuickLOAD, while it works well, is a steaming pile of crap from a software and UI perspective. Do not make me buy a CD. Do not make me update the database from a CD. Do not make me even look at the Neco website. My brain just can't take the pain. The internet has been a mainstream thing for 20 years now.

Make a Mac version and I will buy it today for double what you're asking.

Also, external ballistics is everywhere and free. Don't care about that at all.

Don't hold back, tell us how you really feel :D

FWIW, I have many of the same sentiments... other than the Mac thing ;)
