An Interesting Day Today

KMart

Gold $$ Contributor
I went up into deep East Texas today to visit with one of my life long friends. While up there we took off and hit a few small gun shops to see what was and wasn't there. No powder and primers for sure. I asked one owner who in the area handled reloading supplies and the closest he knew of was about an hours drive.
What I did find was some factory loaded ammo on the shelves and what was a surprise is what they were. 257 Roberts, 220 Swift, 35 Whelen, 7x57 Mauser, and last but not least was about 20 boxes of Remington AR 30. All of it looked to be new production.
Some of you my be use to seeing those on the shelves but not in my little sheltered world.

Sound to me Kmart, that just because you have an older caliber, does not mean that it does not do the job. Not always having the latest and greatest work out! Got a few of those cals and still use them. What does a person do when all the 5.56, 9mm, 300BO and 308 are sold out? Well, I just go grab a different rifle and keep shooting! Lol

I don't have a 5.56, 300BO or a 308 either. Don't shoot enough 9mm to justify reloading them.
