A while ago I ran a post looking for a caliber for a trued Rem. action. "ShootDots" Ben Steinsholt suggested the 284 Win. and a gunsmith he uses- Tom Holbrook (963-661-3780) .I talked with Tom , got his thoughts and time schedule and decided to send him the parts to build what had been decided. He stayed in constant contact with me along the way and worked up a load for me. In spite of his job as a ship Captain ,which supplies the oil rigs,where he usually has 2 wks. on and 2 off. He keeps you up to date AND does not over book work . You are kept up to date . The rifle shoots unbelievably well especially for a non competitive shooter. If you're looking for a gunsmith in the Texas area ,or. anywhere for that matter try him . Don't take my word but ask Ben as his word will carry more weight than mine . Thank you Tom Holbrook!
