Started a new Farm on Monday and I don't think it's been hunted for a long time as it is setup as a Historic Site for the house, barn and out buildings. The Farmer that leases the fields got my name from other Farmers and asked me to reduce the numbers of Chucks. This place is infested! Got 10 on Monday and 7 today! Largest was 13.98 lb. and longest was 314 yards shooting the .17 Fireball and 25 gr. V-Max Monday and .20-.223 Ackley with the 55 gr. Berger today due to the wind. Monday, on the 314, I wait for it to set up as the grass is long and when it does it's eating what appeared to be a flower or perhaps a Mushroom. When I walked for confirmation it was an Apple! Got two Pups so far under that tree! Might keep the Dr. away but not me! ;D 141 for the Season now with many more to kill at this place!

Congrats, MrM. IIRC, your season goal is 150. Looks like you might have to revise that figure. 
I shot one about a month or so ago that was in a bean field and had something strange in its mouth. But it was across a creek and I didn't feel like getting my feet wet. Now I'm curious as to what it was.
I haven't been out in the fields much lately. Season total is kinda stuck on 248.
