AMT Actions??

I just acquired a rifle built on an AMT SS-380 action. Left port, right bolt, 20 vartarg with a lilja heavy barrel. Yet to shoot it but trying to find out more on the extinct AMT actions. I have read every post I can find here. Anyone know where I can find more detailed info? Like the difference between a SS-380 and an SS450? Thanks

I had some experience with AMT pistols long ago.....the stainless they used was not really compatible between slide and frame. Result? Much galling of the dissimilar metals. I hope they worked this out on their rifle actions for your sake.
