AMT 22 Magnum Hunter,... worth buying??

Local gun shop got one in used and it appears to have never been fired. I seen and thought I had to have it but not knowing anything about it I put it layaway with the option to bail if it's not worth buying. I did some research and there are parts available but looking for info from someone that knows a little about them. Its a all stainless 22 Mag semi-auto.

I have a 10/22 AMT all stainless. I've not had one issue in 20 years in using. AMT gets a bad name, but their 10/22 rifles have worked well. It will shoot almost as well as my custom built Stiller 22 with Lilja barrel. You should be good to go. Scott

Thanks for the info but I went back and got my money back as they were asking way too much for it as I found out. They wanted $599 for it, was in pristine condition but looks like current value is around $350-$450 max.
