I don't think I want that thing running free in my shop. HaHa
I don't do large runs of ammo, so I don't really need it, anyway. Bet that robot will cost some $$$.

It looks like it had sensors to detect heat off the case, and basically heat the case up and does destruction testing on the sacrificial case. Still the price tag gets me, but that feature is very unique and the r&d invested is incredible.

Firmware updates are generally free--but AMP never misses a chance to make a $. Assuming new machines have the feature, manufacturers are usually reluctant to punish early adopters by charging for upgrades....

If someone sees the firmware update available, please post.

OK. For $250 I'll indeed pass. Frankly, I don't consider their numbers gospel anyway. I often anneal one or 2 digits lower on the scale based on personal preference. To me the huge advantage of AMP isn't that it anneals every shell perfectly, but that it anneals every shell the same. --Jerry

Yeppers, $250.00 is too steep a price for me also. That's going to be an option that is going to have to wait until I find $250.00 on the sidewalk and the odds of that are way out there.

I don't find the lack of an autofeeder a problem for 100 at a time. The fact that I can do it on the coffee table while watching TV makes it pretty nice. Also, it is easier to do than reloading so concentration/distractions are not critical.

I think the $250. upgrade should come standard going forward and maybe a $25. retro fit for the existing AMP's out there....Especially if they decide to not offer the brass testing service......I would like the upgrade........I don't know......Buy & Cry?..
