Back on topic, the ammo supply: Supposedly each Sidewinder missile costs (the US taxpayers) $400k. And to think I've been giving my buddy a bunch of $h*t because he bought a .338 LM for which ammo costs $4.00+ per shot.
So we spent $400k to shoot down the 'Chinese balloon'. Then $400k for each of the missiles fired to bring down the other things (probably balloons, maybe even from car dealer promos, or hobbyists tracking wind streams) recently boasted about in the US media. Three such objects, of which one required 2 Sidewinders, because one missile missed its target. (If any of the targets was a piñata, the falling candy could have presented a danger to the public!) Americans, rest easy. SSSOB Biden is protecting the country.
Compare that to '30 Seconds Over Tokyo'. (Young 'uns, Google it.) The USA is a joke. A sick joke.
