Just a guess (I don't know for certain how these conflicts affect ammunition supplies in our country) but we're using a lot of ammo in Afghanistan, the Philippines where we train Filipino forces, in Africa where our forces are actively training fighters for conflicts in Somalia, then there's Pakistan, Syria (those are our weapons and ammo the CIA is providing to the rebels) and of course good old Iraq. Some of that ammo may well be provided by other countries represented in the United Nations but it's still my guess that all those military operations are having some impact on our supply here in the US>
