"SK Pistol Match will shoot groups with the best of the best" Excellent groups for $7 ammo and a 10/22, but there is a reason folks pay up to $23 per box for ammo, test lot after lot, and even travel to manufacturer testing facilities. They are searching for the best of the best. I shoot a variety of target 22 RF's from 1800's Marlin Ballard's to the Anschutz 5430.

Well I have had some good Eley when I owned my Gene Davis smithed Suhl 150 with Benchmark barrel. Here was one from it that was pretty good.

But I have seen some of the SK Pistol Match shoot groups as good if not better than black box Eley Match. But good lots of Eley Match is hard to beat. I will admit that.

Gene hung the barrel and tuned the bolt on my 40X Lilja Mini Palma (200 prone). Outstanding gunsmith and great individual.

Can you beat 30 inches? (duplicated the palma sight radius).

I think wolf ME, SK and some other types of cheaper ammo shoots great little 5 shot groups, and unless your competing on a 25 shot score target the higher end ammo is not worth buying. Just like full blown bench guns don't shoot that much better than some non custom rifles. The difference showes up when match targets are scanned and you can see how may thousands your bullet is off center. That's where high end ammo and guns show the difference. But that little difference cost thousands of dollars!
