Very nice. At $70 I think I will settle for my plastic MTM boxes and my custom oak holders that I purchased from a member of this forum.

Apparently it is that case, with the cubed foam, with a punch aluminum plate to go over the top of the foam after the cubes were removed.

looking at the scale of those loaded rounds, they look more like 338 Lapua, Chytec or similar. They're Big Uns!

After spending BIG $$$ on a rifle/scope and hours loading the rounds, spending on a nice secure ammo box is really not a big deal. The aluminum plate is a nice idea.

I have used a heat gun and removed the Lapua lapels off their boxes and also bought MTM boxes. But they really don't protect against a stop short in the truck and there go the ammo boxes flying day. I could spend more time marking each round with the powder weight and CBOT so if the plastic box opens when its knocked over I still know which is which.

Do I need this? Not really, but that's how it goes. Thanks Creedfan for finding it for me!

The Pelican cases come in many different sizes. I have for my Dashers, 300 Weatherby IMP, 300 WSM and 339 Lapua IMP. They all hold shells very securely. Matt
