Or Nixon. He actually got us out of one.Agreed.
Did I miss a nuclear war? I don’t recall either Reagan or Trump getting the US into one.

Thought about your comment over-night before considering a response . Fact is the Ukraine Govt. may be one of , or the most corrupt on the planet . That's not the issue here . The issue is people ; not a Govt fighting for their existence , their very lives , against a Brutally corrupt , Megalomaniac Thug , who has no interest , or caring about how many people he kills . As long as He achieves his sick and twisted goal of re-establishing the former Soviet Union . Free men and women world-wide should be doing everything and anything we can to support the Ukrainian people in their fight against that Tyrant . If I knew how to send them my own stash of 7.62x39 ammo , I wouldn't hesitate. They sure as Hell need it more than I do . And from what I've seen on the boob tube , They don't look much like victims to me , taking on Armor with AK's . Maybe if Our own POTUS hadn't held up shipments of much-needed Stingers , Javelins , and small arms last March cause he didn't want to piss off his buddy Vlad , and NATO countries would have , and could have given the Ukrainians the former Soviet aircraft they were asking for , Vlad might have had second thoughts . If this is to political , I make no apologies . And the Boss is free to dump it at his discretion . But it needs to be said . People fighting for their freedom deserve to be supported any way possible . The French showed up to support a bunch of rabble with Ships , gun powder , musket balls and even food , or we wouldn't be having this discussion today .I've detested Putin for a long time, long before it was so fashionable. But only a couple of years ago every politician and pundit (left, right, and center) and every news outlet blithely proclaimed Ukraine to be probably the most corrupt country in the world. Now they're only the most victimized country. What an astonishingly quick transformation.

So how many rifles do you have that shoot 7.62 x 39 ?It's a nice gesture. But it makes me wonder when there was no ammo available in the US market, how did they come up with ten million rounds to give away?
Ammo Inc doesn't sell 7.62x39 ammo to the public. They do sell brass cases. Perhaps they already produce the ammo for Eastern bloc militarys but that seems unlikely with all the inexpensive milspec sources in Europe. I can't find specifics on this scheme which seems odd to me. (See my signature below.)So how many rifles do you have that shoot 7.62 x 39 ?
Reagan, through military spending, demolished the cold war and the russian's ability to keep it up. NATO should have swept up Ukraine, the baltics, Poland and Findland and Sweeden right then and there. Now the climate of GLASNOS is gone, there is a thug and criminal in charge of russia and getting countries close to Russia into NATO is so much more complicated. What a missed opportunity! Joe Biden is 2022's answer to Neville Chamberlain imo. We know what Ukraine needs but we meet about it. Shortly there will be no more free Ukraine imo and another lost opportunity for us to ponder.
Do tell… what did?Reagan did not cause the breakup of the Warsaw Pact or the Soviet Union or anything else. Not here to argue with friends but that line is a fabrication and propaganda. Evaluated a little beneath the thin skin and it's non sense.
There are viable opposing opinions on that. If you search "Did Reagan end the cold war?" online you will find examples of both. The gist of the most persuasive "No!" camp's argument is that The Soviet Union was already collapsing under its own weight, and Reagan's friendly persuasion of reform-minded Mikhail Gorbachev started the ball rolling downhill.Do tell… what did?
Like most historical events, it was the culmination of multiple elements. Reagan’s contribution was taking the right actions at the right moments, characteristics of a good leader…There are viable opposing opinions on that.
