I've detested Putin for a long time, long before it was so fashionable. But only a couple of years ago every politician and pundit (left, right, and center) and every news outlet blithely proclaimed Ukraine to be probably the most corrupt country in the world. Now they're only the most victimized country. What an astonishingly quick transformation.

This is a no win situation for U.S. citizens, it is however a situation that the Biden administration is making every effort to use to the advantage of the left. Cover for the climate change inflated fuel/energy and food prices his and socialist Bernie Sanders agenda has created. While Russia, China trade coal and oil and IGNORE anything as unproven as man caused climate change. I well know what it is like to be shot at. But I also know that folks allowed their government to take away their right to own and possess guns and now they need them and are calling on countries to now furnish them with such. The USA and other countries should take heed and not allow such to occur within theirs, as the threat from some is still very clear and it could happen to them also, with the way our and some of their government leaders in power now are doing and wanting.
It still does not give suppliers the right to raise and charge the prices they are now, for supplies that we want for our needs and sport/hobby.

I spent half my life worried about what goofy move they were going to pull next, getting under my desk practicing to survive a nuclear blast since reagan (like trump) was definitely going to get us into a nuclear war

Reagan, through military spending, demolished the cold war and the russian's ability to keep it up. NATO should have swept up Ukraine, the baltics, Poland and Findland and Sweeden right then and there. Now the climate of GLASNOS is gone, there is a thug and criminal in charge of russia and getting countries close to Russia into NATO is so much more complicated. What a missed opportunity! Joe Biden is 2022's answer to Neville Chamberlain imo. We know what Ukraine needs but we meet about it. Shortly there will be no more free Ukraine imo and another lost opportunity for us to ponder.

China has been watching the whole time and now that they have seen how ineffective and week America is with Biden as a leader Taiwan will be next and soon. I read somewhere a few weeks ago that on that day there were 18 incursions into Taiwan airspace by China's jets.
