I'm in the market for a 7mm barrel does he do them, figure I'd ask before bugging him. If you search his name and or the business name with the LLC attached you can find his FFL and phone number.

Yes you are correct on that if you do pull button rifling you have to lap unless you use a single button on pull button they normally use what I call a trailer in which is basically a smooth plug to make the bore that's a maybe or maybe not that is information that I had heard. You're not ignorant and I know it. Stan, I understand the stress relief is the last operation before lapping for those that lap. Now I know some stress relieve after contouring and some do it before.
I don't shoot BR, I'm an F-TR guy, that said, my ABC barrel shoots better than anything I've ever used. My rifle is a legitimate under ½ MOA vertical all day, and proved it match after match at the FCWC.
All five shot groups 100 yards. 30 Major (Grendel) Borden BR, Ezell PDT Tuner, 115gr Hillbilly bullets, powder is N120. Barrel is 30 cal 17.5 twist ABC HV contour.

Lol! I've shot a few groups like those over the years while practicing, but never three like that on the same day, until then. I can't remember all the details but I fired 20 5 shot groups that day and the agg was in the low 1's. That includes the first two groups where I moved the tuner to get it dialed in. I think the biggest group was the first one and it was a high .2.Holy crap dude. You weren't lying. haha

I shot the barrel in a couple of matches getting ready for last year's UBR Nationals..won at both. At the Nat's, I missed a perfect 100 yard agg by a reticle. It wasn't the gun's fault either. It's only been done I think three times. Two of those were in back to back matches by JR Rigsby. Unfortunately for me, his second one came... at last year's nationals.
That barrel is something. I plan to shoot it a lot this season. It's up to me to steer it.
It's a 30. It'll last long enough to enjoy it. I've got another just like it on order. My fingers are crossed that it's as good as this one. The one before this was excellent too!Dont wear it out!

Yep, it's been hard to make matches for the last 3 or 4 years but....see ya March 3!Hmmm, let's see.....125 shots in April.Yeah, I think that barrel should last until August. Let's be generous and you shoot a match maybe in July too. Barrel still oughta last. Whadayathink?
