Have told my masters degree educated, High school history teacher , book smart, common sense , street stupid, Son in Law, pay attention, there will be another civil war.

My hope, and prayers are is there enough of us willing , and able to bring back our country , to the way most of old timers remember it. ??

From the time this country was formed it has been a rough and rocky road. If you look at history for the past 250 years you will see that the corruption, chaos, and change is nothing new.
I still believe this is the greatest country in the history of mankind and I can’t think of anytime or place I’d rather be. Change is inevitable just like it was for our ancestors. Some good and some not so good . We will survive.

I'd give it another 750 years and see how it's going then. Still early days, the old world says hi

I am confident that Europe will continue to sit on their hands like they did pre WW1 and WW2 and we will be involved in another world war and will not have time nor energy to have a civil war. It looks to me like they are treating Putin just like they did Hitler, and it may result in the same outcome. Many in Nato are still not paying their way and expect America to defend them. I wonder how many of the latest batch of immigrants will joyfully step up to defend their new country?

That's one way of looking at it. A weakened Europe had also been in the US interest too. The British Empire would have been assisted by an early entry to the wars by the US. Let's not pretend any country acts for purely altruistic reasons That said Trump was right, everyone should pay their way, in my opinion 5% of GDP should be going on defence. The biggest issue for the West I think will be internal collapse not an external threat, decline of the Roman empire style.

You are right there we are killing ourselves, like we need to support 20 million illegals. 5%, last i saw on the news Germany is only slightly over 1%. and bitching about that.
