AMAX 105 VER. HP

I think the BTHP has a slight edge in accuracy over the A-max but they are close enough that lot variability could give the A-max an advantage in some lots. The A-max also has a slight BC advantage.

Im shooting them out of my 6superlr right at 3100 fps and they are shooting great. Just measured out a box of 100 yesterday and only 2 were put into the fouler box at 104.9 grains the rest of the box weighed 105.1. I shot 12 shots last weekend with this bullet at 1000yds. Dropped one 9 and called it when I shot. The rest were 10s with 7X's. I am shooting a 1000 yard Fclass open match this Saturday. Its the first prone match I've ever shot so we'll see how it goes.

I have found them to shoot great out of my 6CM at longrange. I shot 7- 4" claybirds at 850 in 7 shots. I have not taken them out to 1000 yet and put them on paper. I'm thinking of another 6CM barrel with an 8 twist for this bullet and Tac shooting.

I just loaded 5 last night and it looks like i have to seat them deeper than reg. a-max, to be the same off the riflings. Have you found this to be true in your case?
