Alternative to 105 gr Hybrids

There’s that old saying that if a 6BR does not shoot well with 30 grains of Varget and SMK 107’s, then the rifle doesn’t shoot.

IMHO almost anything will shoot in a 6br . I picked a bullet I could get (Berger 90BT , threw 30 of Reloder 15 with brass out of the box and I’ll be using that combination at 1st match this Sunday . Incredible cartridge !

I like the tipped Sierra 107s, but if you don't want Sierra, I do like the Lapua Scenars, especially the 90s.

Correction, Sir. 1.Re Hornady- I still think there is too much variance within one lot of ammo, 2. Re Sierra and Nosler: I gave up on them because of problems with their availability here. However, it seems to have improved in the meantime. I just ordered a couple of boxes of Sierra 107grs.
