Alpha Munitions SRP

Are you asking what makes Alpha special or the fact that it's SRP? The advantage of SRP brass is it has more material around the primer pocket making it tougher and last longer. Another advantage (at least for me) is that small primers are much easier to find and like only having to worry about having one size (for the most part). As far as Alpha goes, their brass has been very consistent. I don't have a creedmoor, but I do have their 260 and 308 brass. The attached screenshot shows the 308 SRP compared to Lake City LR when I chronogragped my Palma rifle the other day.

In reference to SRP brass generally speaking and not Brand oriented My Bench Rest 260AI 40X has shown better groups with the SRP brass than the LRP brass in side by side comparison 3, 5, & 10 shot groups with all other components remaining the same.

Avg. M V 2971 P SRP 140 gr. Berger 44.5 gr. H-4350 CCI BR-4 GP. AGG .226 18 shot
Avg. M V 2969 L LRP 140 gr. Berger 44.5 gr. H-4350 CCI BR-2 GP. AGG .248 18 shot

Because it was in stock and Lupua wasn't.
^^^ This is what makes it special...no other reason to buy it is necessary.

Fortunately, Alpha Munitions brass is of also of very good quality. I started using their .308 Win SRP brass a couple years ago and have been very satisfied with the performance. As expected, there are some subtle differences as compared to other manufacturer's .308 Win SRP brass such as internal volume/case weight and what preparation needs to be done to the primer pockets/flash holes.

Those are some zippy numbers, must be a typo you have BR-2 for both SRP and LRP.
What barrel length.
