I have them for my .308 and have not really put much millage on them yet. So far, I'd rate them as excellent, though I had to make an adjustment for its quirkyI want to know about the quality of Alpha Munitions brass. Good? Mediocre? Bad?
Tell me about your experience.
As far as "a lot of other stuff out there goes". 6MM PPC is as rare as hen's teeth. You sometimes but rarely see Lapua .220 Russian offered, but they require neck sizing etc, etc to end up with the cartridge you're looking for.For what it's worth...I have no dog in this fight but I've measured a lot of 223 and 308 brass. The old timers will die on the "Lapua or nothing" hill... but I'm here to tell you... it's not better than a lot of other stuff out there these days.
There is lots of information on the subject on this site. A search could tell You what You want to know.I want to know about the quality of Alpha Munitions brass. Good? Mediocre? Bad?

The reason I asked is that I red an ad selling Alpha Munitions in 6PPC and all you would need to do is check the length and turn the necks. Who needs the extra work the Lapua requires~?
All I have shot it was yesterday.
But some very well known and excellent shooters, Lester Bruno and Speedy Gonzales in particular, have been using it with excellent results and no problems. I have known both for close to three decades and neither is in the habit of going to the line with things that don’t work.
I tend to follow that same path.
