Alpha Munitions 6BR brass Review?????

Ive been seeing that you can get a hold of Alpha Munitions 6BR brass for a little while now…. I was wondering if someone who uses it could give us a review of their thoughts??

How does it compare to Lapua, Norma, and Peterson??

If there is a thread posted with this information I apologize, but i did a search and according to my calculations i havent seen a post about it yet…. Im sitting ok on a bunch of Lapua but am curious about the new brass from them

Alpha is excellent brass. I've got 308 brass for my FTR gun with over 50 firings on it. SOME of their cartridges have less case capacity than the Lapua equivalent. 308 is a half grain less... 6.5 CM is exactly the same.

Never used 6BR but I am following because I'll need some for a 30BR project I have coming up.

I purchased some Alpha 6bra brass. Kept getting heavy bolt lift. Kept decreasing charge ,was in the low thirties (6 br load range) and was still getting heavy lift. Sold it, back to the Lapua I was using, problem solved.

When Alpha first came out with Dasher brass, I bought a box had problems with it. Heavy bolt lift, no velocity etc. same problems I had with Peterson.

Alpha soon found out that there was a problem and redesigned either the brass alloy or the dimensions, or both
They updated the brass and it is now called Alpha OCD. The brass that is labeled OCD on the box is really good stuff. Takes pressure very well and no problems with bolt lift. Shot side by side with Lapua brass, they perform almost identically. Powder charge and velocity is almost identical,

Just bought 300 of the Alpha OCD 6 bra. Haven’t used it but I hope it works well. I have Lapua now but picked up the Alpha as a back up in case the Lapua is scarce, which it seems to be right now. Too cold to test it right now.
