I bought one of the early Annie's and wasn't sure how well I liked it. The coil kept getting
Hot and kicked out my circuit breaker after 20-30 pieces of brass. It finally crapped out just before Christmas so I called them and sent it back. They updated the electronics and added an internal fan. I also purchased the water recirculating system. When I got it back I tried hooking up the water cooler and had lots of leaks. Also couldn't get the pump to prime so I put the ceramic coil back in and started using it again. What I found was after the upgrades the coil stayed warm to the touch but not hot. I can do a hundred plus pieces of Lapua.260 without any over heating. The water cooler isn't necessary and takes too much room anyway.
I tried 750 Templex but prefer to set the time by dimming the room lights and watching for the very faint glow. I've set the timer to 2.3 seconds and it does a great job. I'm very pleased with the Annie since Scott updated it. Easy and takes up very little space.
