Sure wish we had some of those down here in Juneau. All we get is wolves and bears with a coyote or two. With the range of the wolf pack its impossible to know when they are in the area, and with 40 miles of road and little to no ATV use, its just frustrating.

What's their likely food source? Must be abundant and high in protien! How wide a range do you cover to collect 100 foxes!!??

Most of my animals this year have been just out of town maybe 15 minutes from the house. I have several short traplines on creeks and the high ground along the cliffs that are 45minutes away. I really am not covering much ground. The foxes are eating tons of snowshoe hares and mice, and whatever dead seafood that washes up on the beaches. In the picture it shows the cliffs, the foxes will climb 100ft straight down to pick at stuff down in the rocks at low tide. I got another one today with the 6ppc. 140yds with a 80gr Berger slowed down to about 1100fps. It actually performed wonderfully.

How was that 80 Berger on fur? I have a brutally accurate full tilt load for my .243, and have contemplated putting together a Trailboss load with the 80 Berger or 70TNT
