AICS Mag Feeding Issue?

This rifle is chambered in 6.5 creedmoor. I've noticed lately that it has an issue loading from one of my mags....I guess I should check the other mag too. Will do that tomorrow. This is an MDT 10 round AICS mag, and a Savage 12 action. The action jams up, like in the picture below, after stripping a round from the mag. It starts into the bore, but the base of the case sometimes gets tilted up. If I very slightly back the bolt up a tiny bit, the case head tilts down and I can chamber the round no problem. Do I need to look at the mag lips? They might have gotten tweaked somewhere along the line.

I dont have a Savage action but do have a boat-load of AICS mags for many different actions. Adjusting the feedlips, especially if the setup performed well and ha now developed an dissue may be in order. When I am adjsuting mine, I use the primer on a loaded round in the magazine as a level indicator. Once I get the ride-height worked out, I can adjust the other mags so that the head of the loaded rounds in them look just like my functioing one(s).

looks to me like the case head is hung up on the ejector plunger, if the tip of the ejector is proud of the bolt it will do this
This maybe seems about right....here's some pics of the bolt head and ejector. How does a guy remedy this, if it really is the issue?

I can't see the pic very well........but, is the rim of the cartridge hanging on the front edge of the mag? Is there enough clearance for the cartridge to pass cleanly into the chamber from the front of the mag? Front of the mag too high interfering with case feed?

first remove the ejector an see if the problem persists
I finally got around to trying this. It seems you've hit the nail on the head!! The ejector isn't proud of the bolt head, but is causing my issue. Should I file a little bit off the top of the ejector plunger?

I smoothed the edges and put a angled flat on my old savage to fix it.

GME is right this round is clearly out of the magazine and in the chamber most of the way. The magazine has no influence on it at this point. Good call

Took a Dremel to the plunger. My angle was slightly off from what I was going for, but it does seem to have cured the problem!
