I searched this and found nothing, so I'll ask. If you extended the feed lips (with the br kit installed) wouldn't that solve the problems with feeding?

I have no experience with the br kits but can say the the BR-specific MTD brand mags seem to feed very well.

It has to do with cartridge length, the feed lips are not extended but there is a spacer installed to push the tiny round forward which aids greatly in feeding. Been using the MDT 6BR 12 round mags for almost 5 years with great success.
