Grabbed the 5X45AI, my name and I'm keeping it!, last night with a pocket of 39 grain BlitzKings for some Chucking last night. I was using them to limit pass through as the area was tight. First shot at 260 yards was in tall grass but was a gimme so I was already tallying it. Next shot was another easy one at 305 but it ran away! Oh well it was a pup so a small target I think. Mom follows and stops and gives me two shots and nuthin'! Another at 265 and it runs away! WTF moment and I return to my truck and grab my 6X45AI and went 3 for 3 from 306, 291 and 240. Today I went to the range and the 39's aren't making it to the target! Nothing but a poof! 4123 fps in a 8.5tw and 349,000 rpms was okay in the new tube but I guess not now! The 55's still make little groups so they will be my mainstay!

Yep frustrating when all you see is "poof" in front of your barrel and no bullet making it to target.
I'm surprised the Sierras didn't make it to target...guess the twist and speed just too much. LOL

Sorry that was 79 and another 2 tonight for 81. The Pups are out taking over old holes so keep your eyes open at holes that were cleared.

Ol' snert seemed to take a liking to the 6x45AI
We tag teamed these two from the same mound @ 205yds. I shot #1 & looked back up there a minute later and there was #2! From our viewing angle, it looked like #2 was standing right on top of #1! Snert grabbed the grape jelly rifle and when he thumped an 87Vmax into the chest of #2, it sorta did a slow-motion rearward "trust fall"
Took about 3 full seconds to arch up & backward before tipping over...wish we got that one on video!
