One could argue with the economy the way it is that it is not a choice. Join military and make enough to live or be twice as poor as your parents who also couldn’t afford college. But I’m sure you’ve worked really hard to get where you’re at. I’ve worked with enough soft people who think they’ve worked a lot harder to get thier position in life then they really did ... edit. Also I was 82nd for 4 years with 1 in Afghanistan then back over with dod for another 4 years straight...So what? That is a CHOICE that the individual makes. It is NOT a requirement any longer. It hasn't been required since 1973.
If war is not your thing, then don't do it. Only one in ten of your friends will be there to take up the slack you left.
I didn’t elaborate properly. I know that btw. Doesn’t mean they fight for the common person. We generally get the worst from both sides was my point. The plebs. Not a big deal though just how western civ works. The “Oil Companies” Don’t have anything to do with this. - The “owners” are the share-holders of these companies. And a good part of those senior executives are very pro-gun. - The “law makers” are the ones who make these rules/laws and the oil companies are Not focused on these laws when it comes to lobbying. They are focused on regulations related to the industry in specific and acreage for exploration.
