Aftermarket stock for Browning A-Bolt Short Action

Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket stock made for the short action Browning A-Bolt?

Jason, Back a couple of years ago I was wondering the same. I could not find anything. I called H & S Precision and the gentleman I talked to said he had tried to make some but it just did not work out. I believe he told me that he actually did make some but there was a problem with the bedding/fitting and most of what he sold came back. Bill

McMillan has 3 different stocks for Brownings that should work for short or long actions. I put a McMillan varmint stock on my A-bolt stainless stalker,long action 30-06), it now has the best feel of all my hunting rifles.

I had an A-bolt, 243 set in a McMillan stock.It is pillar bedded,free floated bbl.. The gun went from a 1" shooter to a sub 1/2"er !A little pricey but good accuracy seldom comes cheap. Good luck.
