Aftermarket Rimfire action

I too did not want to buy a rifle, only to shed an expensive stock that did not suit benchrest. I was drooling over the Stiller Copperhead action and finally ordered one and had a nice custom benchrester around it. Shoots far better than I can hold for conditions @100 yards which is where we shoot. I look forward to shooting this gun a lot. Ordered the action from Dan as well.

It sounds like Merlin already has what he wants. I dont know much about the sporter BR. class, but i saw a custom BR. sporter rig in the classifieds of WWW.rimfirecentral.com it is a Hall action, repeater with the sako mag. in a Stith toothpick stock, jewell trigger, and i believe a Bartlein barrel(may be a broughton, my memory is not very good) the owner said it weighed 6lbs. 6oz. without a scope, for $1,500.00. I have no dog in this fight, but it sounds like a very good deal to me.-Brent

Chesebro has a 1407 converted for CZ mags, so he may be ready to do other Anschutz 54 action conversions.

Have no idea how much it costs, tho.
