After cleaning a .22 rimfire question

I think it makes perfect sense, if we could just find out what the recipe for the stuff is. Probably a proprietary blend of shrew fat and magnolia sap -- oughta be able to come up with sumpthin over on Cast Boollits. ;) jd
 
I've tried TC Bore Butter before with some old Eley that the wax had dried. Only reason was a concern of leading w/o doing something. Shot fine both ways though.

According to your brand try high pressure filtered beeswax
 
I lube the barrel as a last step in every firearm I own.... That includes Rimfire , center-fire , pistol and rifle... I even do it on chrome lined barrels..... For extreme long term storage I have seen guys pump the barrel full of grease.... It sure ain't going to hurt it , just remember to wipe the oil out before shooting.....
