Advice - specs for a blank for .22-250ai blank

I've never ordered a barrel. I have several rifles with aftermarket barrels, but I don't know diddly about spec'ing a blank.

I want to build a sporter/light weight 22-250ai to shoot 90gr vld at targets for funsies, and 70tsx at critters.

I have in mind that I may want to eventually get a can, so i might want to o as short as practical.

I think from what I've read, an 8 twist would be optimal?

3 groove or more? 5r?

If the cartridge was 22br, what would change?

I got lucky, my 'smith has a 30.5" Krieger 1:8 twist S/S for my 22-250AI Build.

I have (600) Hornady 75 gr. AMAX and (300) 80 gr. AMAX.

If I were to wait, Bartlein 5R 1:8, 30" straight cylinder.

Looks like any .224 barrels are hard to find right now!

i THINK you may need to go to a 7 twist to get the 90s to fly.

I used a Douglas 5 taper barrel in an 8 twist on mine and it shoots VERY well. Using the 80gr SMK at 3375.
