Advice on where to sell store inventory

Hey all new here, I'm looking for advice on where to sell inventory leftover from my parents sporting goods business. I would like to sell everything as a lot all at once if possible. Has anyone had luck with gunbroker or ebay? Not looking to get top dollar but not wanting to give it away either. I'd keep it all but my wife would probably divorce me and you can only build so many rifles in one lifetime.

Any way I've got L.E. Wilson, Sinclair, Canjar triggers, Timney triggers, Brown Precision stocks, B-Square mounts and action screws, Pachmyer recoil pads, jags, brushes, bore guides, scope mounts, to name a few things. All of it is new old stock.

Any thoughts on how to reclaim my garage and empty my mother's would be appreciated.

Maybe telling what city and state your in would help find another shop owner that is close enough to buy it all and be able to pick it up

Selling small lots on GB or Ebay will drain the life out of you. Selling it all at once will accomplish one goal but will not maximize value. You might have to reckon with the fact that some of the things you have don't carry much value these days or don't meet the current fads.

Do you have an organized inventory with accurate lists of what you have?

Find you an auctioneer or an auction house. These guys advertise hard and have good mailing list of people looking for this kind of merchandise. The auction people will do almost all of the leg work and you may be surprised at how much you can get. They will also group other peoples alike mdse. to bring in larger crowds. Ask around.

I concur with contacting a gun shops.

One of my local gun shops on a regular basis buys from estate sales and would not hesitate looking at another shops liquidations.

What Hogpatrol said, especially the 5 bucks an hour. If you took the Time to list some of the items on a site such as this one and listed them for 50 cents on the dollar, you might be surprised how much you would move. Lots of guys looking for a deal right here. If you try and get top dollar it won't be worth your time though.

I put a post over on Specialty Pistols so some of the guys from Wy can see this.

I hope one of them can help you out.

I will be looking for the future owners info so I can help pick and choose. ;)

Steve :)
