Advice on stock for heavy gun build

Hey Guys, I am a new 1000yd benchrest shooter looking to have a heavy gun built for next year. I started with a LG this year. I could use some advice on what is available and a wise choice for a HG stock. Any and all information would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

does it matter what material it is made out of. i am looking into the model 8 from Richard's rifles in California redwood. that stock is nicely contoured and you can pick what kind of wood/woods you want. otherwise, check out the mcmillan family page for some HG stocks.

I've got my .300 Lapua in a Shehane Tracker. This rifle has a 34 inch custom taper Lilja, balanced and rides the bag real well.

Depending on what you want my buddy has a Eric Springman all aluminum stock for sale along with a front and rear rest to fit the stock. PM me if interested. The complete gun is also for sale.
