Advice on precision 6.5 Creedmoor rifle

That’s a nice one man, I really like that stock. Thanks for the advice, yeah the March might be a little much for what I do. I have a Leupold as well now and it’s never given me any

If you end up going with a T3, there is a fellow on here selling McMillan filled stocks for it. They are drop ins. Pillars and recoil lug are already there. Nominally for a Sendero profile. My CDI bottom metal is close, but it needs a hair of work. I bought one myself. If I had another T3 available, I’d go back for another.

Sounds to me that you will not be happy with your choice.

Like many new shooters, I was seduced by the dark side of the force (extremely effective Hornady marketing). You couldn't go wrong with the 6.5 Creedmoor . . . hence the ongoing joke on this forum. It is a sexy rifle, and I love the look of the fluted stainless. Nothing wrong with this caliber, but I will probably end up swapping the barrel for a heavier one.

Edit: Forgot to mention that GSVP is correct that it is hard to beat a Tikka T3 in a cost/quality comparison to other manufacturers. The factory trigger is crisp with zero creep. The bolt action is buttery smooth, and my .223 is the envy of all my buddies for it's accuracy.

Well I couldn’t pass up on a Black Friday deal on the scope, found a March scope, 2-25x42 brand new for $1890, couldn’t pass it up. It’s on to settling in on the rifle itself. Might have over done it with the scope but that deal was several hundred dollars cheaper than anything I had been researching.
