Advice Needed On A 6mmbr Build

Greetings From Canada.
My first post, but I have scoured this site from top to bottom
and learned a lot in doing so.
I bought a Savage 6mmbr and am currently shooting that, but starting now
I want to build up a 6mmbr custom gun.
Here's my prerequisites.
Casual Br shooting, maybe some informal competition.
Maximum range is 300yds,but most shooting will be at 100yds.
I've looked at Kelby Panda actions,Stiller and Bat.
Any certain model I should look at closely.
I want a RBRP configuration.
I believe I'd like a jewell trigger.
The Shehane BR stocks look good.
I've also looked at Robertson stocks, which are made here in Canada.
I'm thinking a slow twist barrel,1 in 12?) as I'll be shooting short range and also will save costs on bullets.
Prices on quality bullets here are high.
I've heard good things about Kreiger barrels.
I am in Canada and import process takes time,so I'm ready to study up,
take suggestions and make my order.
Thanks for your input.

I know of a gun that sounds good for you. Its not a 6mmbr but 6ppc. Its used, but cheap for what it comes with. its a panda action in a bruno stock and 45x leupold scope. Its nice. just email the guy and he will send you pics. He did me but i deleted them becuse i didnt think i need it.

I know its a long address but its worth it. its only 2400 bucks but it comes set up. I was going to buy it but its kinda out of my price range. check it out and let me know what you think.

Bulletin,

A used gun is a way to save money. Even aPPC can has the bolt face opened up and the chamber puched to 6BR. Search on this fourm, my name ' MarkS', I post something about this last week, and in the past.

But for new. Any of the top actions are good. I have a Bat, Stiller diamondback, and a Hall. All are great. I like the Bat best, with the Stiller DB a close second.

Get one made on CNC machine. All actions are the same, you can get bolts and parts, without sending you action back for fitting. like Kellby, Bat, Stiller, and others ckeck with them.

14 tw may be the best for light bullets, 12tw is good also, you can go up to 80gr bullets with a 12tw.

Kreiger are great, also Lilja, Brux, Bartlin, etc. all the top nmaes are good.

Any of the benchrest are good stocks. If you are not going to shoot Reg. benchrest, with 10.5 and 13.5lb weight limit, also stock config. limits)you may want to look at a long range stock, like Shehane tracker or MBR.

Your making a simple project difficult and more expensive in my opinion. I do the shooting you do, but back to 500 and love the 6 BR. A joy to shoot.
I put a Barnard action into a master class hi grade walnut stock and put a gaillard bbl on it. Great barrels, have 3 and all shot 1/4 moa with me shooting so they must be great.
I would also like to try a bat and a number of other things but I have found little to take me away from a Barnard which is available in stock and well priced from Robertson, and Ted Gaillards bbls are just a phone call away.
Also keep an eye in Canadian Gun Nutz forums, as used comes up quit often.

Just MOP.
