Advice needed -- Can void be filled after bedding?

Some times when I bed an action in a rifle I get a small void. I know this does not affect the total bedding job, but it does not look right. is there any way to just fill the void without have to rebed the entire action?

NOBODY will see it (only you) if you don't take the action out of the stock. ;)
Out of sight, out of mind.
If there are spots that you don't like, dab the action with release agent and touch them up.
Got a few places around some of my V Block installs that could use a "touch up", just havn't got to then yet.

You can partly fill a void but not to the point that it is totally full. As mentioned by Doug Beach, the best way to avoid such in the first place is to apply bedding compound to the receiver as well as the stock; especially in those places where air is likely to get trapped; like behind the recoil lug. IME, either live with what amounts to aesthetics or re bed it. You'll get some squeeze out of the new bedding, where it doesn't need to be, creating a high spot and a bound up action in a messed up bedding job. Fixed this one some time back. It appears someone attempted to bed just the lug area, at least once. Before and after pics.

An excellent illustration of what happens! -Al

Agree with the others leave it as is or redo it Trying to repair will likely give unsatisfactory results. Additionally it helps to mix compound on a flat surface being careful to not introduce air into the epoxy by vigorous agitation
