From what I can see, many target shooters use a simple fine crosshair for a scope reticle. If the shot is off from the X by some distance, how can you tell how far to adjust if you have no hash marks in the scope to measure it? Maybe the targets have known sizes for the circles and one can calculate scope adjustments using that, but I don't know. I need a good quality scope for 100 and 200 yard paper target shooting, and not sure on best reticle for this use.
