Adjustable height barrel band Palma sight maker

I have a Winchester 54 sporter that I want to shoot Cast Bullet Benchrest with. Removing the front sight would destroy the collector value. The gun is drilled for the rear International sight from the factory. I need a front sight system that the base splits so I can mount the sight behind the existing one. The ones I see use .750 for their ID on the band and I'll need one much smaller. Any input, ideas, directions to go? Thank you in advance for your thoughts!

It is a bit of a very long shot but contact stallings Machine and see if he can make a base for you

maybe those would work or you could start there and "open them" with lapping compound etc to accommodate the contour of your tube. hope this helps??
cheers,
Doc

I just measured the barrel, and it is .615 inches behind the sight. I have mounted a Palma rear sight on it to keep my sights lower. I can replace with Internationals if needed. Single split bases won't work, as they won't go past the front sight in place already. Thanks for the input, and I'll look at the links.
