ADG brass

I've never had any ADG brass before. I did a search and it appears to be comparable to Lapua.?
How many pieces of ADG 260 Remington brass will I need to last the life of a 260AI barrel?

I have six reloads on my 308win ADG brass and they are still going strong. These are pretty warm loads behind heavy bullets for FTR. Still have tight pockets (LR) and necks are in good shape. I have not annealed them, but used a quality bushing full-length sizing die.

Estimating brass life at, 12 "good" shots per case with around 1,500 to 1,700 rounds of, estimated barrel life, IF reasonable FPS velocity, careful bbl cleaning, annealing brass and using good, slow burning ( Cold ) Powders to, a toasted barrel = 1,700 divided by 12 = 143 or, about 150 ish Minimum Brass, would be, a "close" est. IMO
I bought 200 Norma's to wear out, my 6 XC barrel,.. estimating 1,800 / 2,000 rounds of, bbl life with, 10X case usage and probably dropping a few, when Hunting Deer / Antelope,..

Norma brass can’t compare to ADG. Norma primer pockets are no better than Winchester, Remington, or Hornady.

ADG primer pockets are much stronger and the brass is dimensionally more consistent.

I posted a quality evaluation on here a few years ago. For all intents and purposes, if you measure one, you measured them all. I have the srp version and they are tougher than superman's You would really have to run some insanely hot loads to open up these primer pockets.

ADG is typically a little on the thick/heavy side so case capacity is generally a bit less with their brass.

I don’t have experience with every ADG offering compared to every identical cartridge offered in Lapua but almost everyone claims ADG has slightly less capacity which means any current loads in a rifle will have to be reduced and retested when changing over to ADG brass from Lapua.

I ordered 200 pc of ADG today.
I'll weigh some when they get here. I weighed some Winchester and Lapua 260 cases today, the Lapua is 13 gr heavier than Winchester.

ADG gives info on there website for case volume, weight, and neck thickness.

Measure the case capacity with water that'll give you a lot more information than just overall case weight.

Lapua brass 260 Improved with 35 degree shoulder measures 55.8gr H20 if you have a 40 degree shoulder in the same Lapua brass it could hold just a sliver more than that.

Btw, I have been searching for 260 brass a little today. There's a lot of quality 260 brass available. Lapua, Alpha Munitions, Starline(???), from Brownells, Natchez, Bullet central and other places.

Blue collar has Alpha in SRP.

200 should definitely be enough. I’ve gotten through some barrels with 100.

I have two barrels coming one will be here next week. The other around April. Both 260ai.

I've read about the 260 Terminator a while back. Looks awesome!
