Guy's say they might be 3.5 x.5 metricI have two Tikka T3 rifles a 223 and 243 and they both have 6-48 scope mount screws. Hope that helps.

Thanks John, had asmith in our club tap them 6 x48I just took a look at the EGW web site and they provide 6-48 screws with their bases however they say that Tikkas built before 2004 have 3.5 x .5 metric threads. So it looks like it depends on when your rifle was built as to which size screws yours will use.
