Adding a 20" moa

Has anybody run into the problem of determining what size screws are on the top of the receiver of a T-3 , .223, bull barrel to mount a 20" moa rail?

I have two Tikka T3 rifles a 223 and 243 and they both have 6-48 scope mount screws. Hope that helps.

Guy's say they might be 3.5 x.5 metric

I just took a look at the EGW web site and they provide 6-48 screws with their bases however they say that Tikkas built before 2004 have 3.5 x .5 metric threads. So it looks like it depends on when your rifle was built as to which size screws yours will use.
