add weight to stock

Looking to add weight to my stock, what should i use?
shot?
lead?
Also where do i get lead if thats the way to go

Hey Kian,
I put lead (9mm bullets to be exact) in my 7mm 08 stock. It was cheaper then shot, $25 compared to $50.

What type of a stock, benchrest, hunting, position? Wood or Fiberglass.

Why are you putting wt in the stock? Just to increase the overall wt of the rifle? To adjust the balance?

Inquiring minds want to know. That will help with an answer.

Same interest here? What should a good bench rig run for weight in 7mm-08? Been pondering that myself.

IBS light gun is 17lb. max.
VHA Stock gun is 15lb.
VHA Field Stock is 12lb.
