Activating NRA Insurance

The message on the front page says that we have to activate this or it won't be in force. I called the NRA regarding this and they told me that when we re-up our membership after the initial insurance activation that the insurance is automatically renewed ( activated ). Any one hear differently?

How does it work for Life Members? I never really think about any insurance which might be active, it wasn't a consideration when I joined.

As a life member, you still have to go online to activate.

Activated mine a few years ago. Had reason to check their computers recently on a RSO issue. That activation was listed so must just continue for us life members.
