Action for Cooper barrel??

Does anybody know of an action maker that makes an action to fit a Cooper barrel?

Knowing what the thread size is on your barrel would help out a lot...

The tenon measures .798 inches and it has 20 TPI. Hope this helps.

Can't think of much of anything. What is the barrel diameter at the breech end, caliber, and length. If doing it yourself and the breech is long enough, cut the tenon off and rechamber. Probably better to start with a new barrel. Not enough info to go on.

That looks like it is a 20mm. Too small for a 13/16". I would check to make sure it is not a 1.25 metric pitch.

If I'm not mistaken the breech diameter on a Cooper is 1". Not even enough to thread for a winchester or rugged and have a shoulder left. Have plenty for an ar 15 I guess.

Sounds like it would fit on an old "Kimber", for-runner of the Cooper.

You are correct; the breech diameter is 1". I put a 20 TPI and a 1.25 TPI gauge in the threads and I couldn't tell the difference.
