I'm currently running a couple of stainless actions for f class and several of the ranges I shoot at have dirt or gravel mounds and frequently have strong winds which leaves me with a bit of a dilemma.
If I grease the bolt lugs it attracts dirt and makes it prone to galling. . . . If I don't grease the bolt then it's still prone to galling!!
I've been thinking about trying to have the action and or bolt coated in something like titanium nitride that I might be able to use without lube.
Has anyone had any experience with something like this?
