Accurateshooter.com's Lads Results

First off I don't want to be rude or anything, but I felt like John has sort of been adopted by you all & you deserve to see his results. However if someone thinks I'm bragging or something please PM me & tell me a better way.

John had his final regular season sporter event which he got 3rd in prone, 1st in kneeling & 4th overall out of 37 today. Had a little standing trouble. Some mind games. That completed the Top Gun. They shoot 5 events head to head from pretty much all of S. IN. After all the events they add the scores for TopGun. John placed 2nd.

I couldn't be prouder of him. You all didn't know us then, but we buried my mom in Oct., in Nov John lost a school friend in a car accident, & 2 weeks ago he was burning up with the flu that is still fatigueing him. So given all that to finish 2nd out of 47 is pretty good. In 3 years he is the only to be on the podium all 3 times. One 1st and 2 seconds. Now it's title time, sort of post season. So here

That’s great! Give him a big hi five from me. Don’t worry about “bragging”! Folks on here love to see youngsters doing well! You’re just reporting the facts! Getting some well deserved credit for raising a fine young man is a little side bonus. You should be proud and “mentioning” it to everyone.:)

Woo Hoo !!!! That’s awesome! No bragging ... just the facts. Way to go you two. Y’all make a great team. Just loving the heck out of all of this, brightens all of us to the core.

It aint bragging it is fact.. Great job John keep up the great work..

joshb, I am glad when I was his age I was not surrounded by girls that could shoot.. lol..

What ever you do, tell John that he doesn't have anything to prove to us, we don't count! What he did was prove to HIMSELF what he is capable of. Above all, tell the young man to have FUN. He will face challenges in the future where he will have to work harder to prove his worth and it won't be fun, so have fun where and when he can.

There's those scores!!! Finishes etc. Way to hang in there.
We are reliving a bit of our past through John. Vicariously is the word. Please don't ever consider depriving us. We want the skinny. :)

Good going, John! You're off to a great start, now let's see the pictures. target pics, air-rifle pics, any pics. We LOVE pictures.

I wish I was a shooter when “I was his age”. It’s a great place to meet girls. And yes, when I was his age, girls were invented, Thought I’d say that before someone asks.

I am proud, and let me tell you from setting in the benches so to speak several of those girls "noticed" John. If he wasn't so consentrated on shooting he would notice, but I'll take the concentration any day. I bet it's 2 to 1 girls to boys, and they are normally always are on the podium.

Tell him to ignore the girls, he'll have the rest of his life to notice girls.

Good advice but, Boy, the pre-programmed hormones of that age, well, summuvus didn't stand a chance. :/
Here's hoping he can weather that storm better than most. It's natural. Its life.

What a great young man. You have every reason to be proud of him.

Just wondering, does anyone know what the total amount collected for John was? I hope it was enough to get him that new rifle he wanted.

It was $3400 of truly grateful money collected. He has the Rifle now, but also don't forget the guys that helped with a jacket, a sight, and ammo. Those are just as important and we are thankful for all.
