Accurate scale to weigh BR rifles

I am looking for an accurate scale that will be able to weigh scoped rifles to make sure they make weight class....any suggestions of which model to get and where to find? There are some 25 lb scales on amazon and, as always, reviews tend to be mixed and none mention how well there BR rifles sit on the scale ;)
Thanks for the input!

Look at Sam's Club for the Royal ex315w shipping scale. Reads in lbs, lbs+oz, and kg. Has a 12" square platform.

I've been using my own for F-Class, it was sitting around collecting dust after I retired anyway, kind of.......way more accurate than really needed, but tough.

Mine was even Tested by the County and passed to be "Legal for Trade" which is what I needed it for since I had to account for every oz. of Freon I bought, resold or reclaimed.

Mike-
With that freon scale, I am guessing you put at edge of table and laid rifle on it with stalk end over edge of table? Looks to be a sweet deal for such an accurate scale!

I've always used my digital fish scale, I checked it against a very accurate scale at work at it seemed to be right on, paid about $20 for it, goes to 50lbs. I just wrap the hook with padding and hang rifle by the trigger gaurd.

I built a "craddle" out of some oak for the rifles to lay in, high enough for even Sinclair bi pods to clear the table surface, contact area lined with foam so not to mess up fancy smancy stock finishes, it's crude but works.

My Weigh Ultra Ship postal scale from Old Will Knots you can get different capacities up to 75 pounds. Mine is a 44 pound model and I've used it for years weighing guns, packages, etc. Runs on a 9 volt battery that lasts for years. For a calibration weight I took a York Barbell 25 pound weight to two different Post Office's and checked the weight which came out to 25 lb 4.5 ounces and that's what I use every now and then just to check it and it's always been dead on.

Fed X has good scales, and here in AZ they don’t seem to mind weighing a gun for me.

I go in first and ask before I tote the 50 bmg in ;D.

Do they set it up at the Range for a Tournament?

DaveBerg,
I've used the High Power Trigger Weight (4.5 lbs. right from DCM) to keep the calibration thing in check.
